After completing physical therapy and Dr. Steven Chudik’s return-to-throwing program in 2025, Colin Sweeney successfully returned to competitive baseball.
Colin went on to complete a successful senior season with Downers Grove Varsity Baseball, helping lead the Mustangs to a conference runner-up finish and a 22–11 record. He will now continue his baseball career at the collegiate level as a pitcher for the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Raiders.
In Colin’s Words:
“The care, treatment and recovery plan helped me return to baseball safely, regain my confidence, and continue competing. I am grateful for the support that helped me move past my injury and earn the opportunity to play baseball at the college level.”
